GGB Picoprobe Model 75 High Performance Microwave Probe
The GGB Industries Model 75 microwave Picoprobe gives a typical insertion loss of 1.0dB and a return loss of 15dB through 75GHz. With its individually spring loaded Beryllium-Copper or optional Tungsten tips, the Model 75 provides reliable contacts, even when probing non-planar structures. Available in any pitch (tip spacing) from 50 to 1250 microns. The probe can be configured with Ground-Signal-Ground (G,S,G), Ground-Signal (G,S) or Signal-Ground (S,G) tip footprints.

The GGB Industries Model 75 Picoprobe also provides direct viewing of the probe tips for accurate positioning. Probe pitches greater than 1250 microns can be accommodated. The probe can be configured with Ground-Signal-Ground (G,S,G), Ground-Signal (G,S), or Signal-Ground (S,G) tip footprints. Most customers are using GSG probes with a pitch of 100 to 250 microns.

Micropositioners are available to hold frequency extenders and modules so that the module or frequency extender and the probe are micropositioned as a unit. In this way, total ease of positioning can be achieved with minimum insertion loss. The probes also have a 3 hole mounting adaptor which will fit standard microwave probe stations. In this case, a longer section of waveguide may be desired to add positioning flexibility.
